South Bank Classic Fish & Chips is launching its first store this July, bringing a classic Aussie fish & chip shop to life with a modern twist – combining fast, high-quality takeaway with relaxed dine-in service.
Located right by the beach, this is your opportunity to join from day one and help shape the culture, the team, and the customer experience from the ground up.

Front of House, Back of House Team Members & Shift Supervisors
Flexible hours | Trading Hours: 11am – 8pm
Who we’re looking for:
Front of House Team Members
- Love providing friendly, fast and welcoming customer service
- Confident taking orders, using POS systems, and handling transactions
- Enjoy working in a team and keeping things clean, organised and running smoothly
- Can handle busy service periods with a positive attitude
- Take pride in presentation and delivering a great customer experience
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate, or willingness to obtain
Back of House Team Members
- Experience in kitchen prep, cooking, or fast-paced hospitality environments (preferred)
- Able to prepare and cook food efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality
- Understand the importance of food safety, cleanliness, and organised workspaces
- Work well under pressure during peak service times
- Are reliable team players who take pride in their work
Shift Supervisors
- Step into a leadership role and help run the store day-to-day.
- Lead and support the team during shifts to deliver fast, friendly service
- Oversee opening, service, and closing to keep operations running smoothly
- Delegate tasks and step in across FOH and BOH during busy periods
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues, escalating where needed
- Assist with stock control, cash handling, and shift reconciliations
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and WHS standards
- Previous hospitality experience essential; supervisory experience preferred, along with Food Safety and RSA (or willingness to obtain)
