Description

Are you a recruitment professional who thrives on keeping things organised and a busy hiring pipeline moving?

Do you take pride in giving every candidate a brilliant experience, from first application through to their first day?

Do you want to be part of a team where you can learn, contribute ideas and grow your career?

This could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

At EMM, we believe that a sustainable future is achievable and we proactively pursue opportunities to help our clients and the community make it a reality. Our dedicated team of environmental professionals are committed to driving positive change through innovation, collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to keep our recruitment process running smoothly and make sure every candidate and hiring manager has a great experience with us. As the calm, organised force behind every hire, you’ll set the tone for how people first meet EMM, while also improving how we find, engage and recruit great people. Your day-to-day involves coordinating interviews and candidate communications, supporting the Talent Acquisition Lead and hiring managers across multiple live roles, managing our applicant tracking system, supporting induction, and collaborating on other People team initiatives where you’ll be encouraged to innovate and suggest better ways of doing things.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative People team and a diverse group of environmental specialists, and you’ll get to see first-hand the work we do to improve environmental sustainability.

This is a hybrid role based in our Brisbane office with genuine flexibility. We understand work is only one part of life.

If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

Here’s what you can expect in your new role with EMM:

  • Own the recruitment coordination: you’ll coordinate recruitment from advertising through to offer and onboarding, including writing and posting job ads, managing the recruitment inbox, scheduling interviews and preparing offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Be the friendly first point of contact: you’ll guide candidates through every stage of their journey, from first application to offer, making sure they feel informed, valued and looked after.
  • Look after our systems and data: you’ll keep our HRIS (Employment Hero), our talent pipelines and market mapping accurate and up to date, and track metrics like time to hire and source of hire so we can make data-informed decisions.
  • Support our hiring managers: you’ll work closely with hiring managers, interviewers and recruitment agencies, keeping everyone connected and informed.
  • Make new starters feel welcome: you’ll partner with our People Coordinator to set new starters up in our systems and support a smooth induction and onboarding experience.
  • Tell our story: you’ll keep our Employee Value Proposition, careers page and recruitment materials fresh, and use candidate feedback to make the experience better every time.
  • Shape how we work: you’ll spot and try out better ways of doing things, help roll out new talent acquisition tools, and be curious about what great recruitment looks like.
  • Grow your recruitment expertise: you’ll be supported and mentored to build your skills, with stretch opportunities to take on more and grow in your role.
  • Work in a way that suits your life: you’ll have the flexibility, autonomy and support you need to balance work with everything else that matters to you.

Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact:

  • Experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, ideally in a professional services or consulting environment
  • Genuine passion for candidate experience, with a natural talent for building relationships with candidates, hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • A brilliant multitasker, comfortable working at pace across multiple roles
  • A sharp eye for detail and a quality-driven approach
  • Calm under pressure, and quick to solve problems as they come up
  • Integrity and a habit of doing the right thing, even when no one is looking
  • Comfortable working across systems such as an ATS or HRIS platform (like Employment Hero), and utilising them to turn data into useful insights
  • Curiosity about what “great” recruitment looks like, and the confidence to suggest a better way of doing things
  • Growth mindset, seeing Talent Acquisition as a career and a critical function for business success
  • A team-first attitude (with a little bit of fun sprinkled in!)

If you’re looking to be part of a team that values innovation and empowers you to make a real impact, EMM could be the place for you.

When you submit your application, look out for our email confirming safe receipt and important information regarding next steps.

Our goal is to build a team of EMMers that looks like the world around us — and we want EMMers to stay and grow. As part of our efforts to build an EMM for everyone, we embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and people with disabilities.
