We have got an exciting opportunity for Student Services Officer to be part of our team at the Institutes of Higher Education (IHEs) Asia Pacific International College (APIC), Higher Education Leadership Institute (HELI) and The College of Health Sciences (CHS) in our Melbourne office.
APIC, HELI and CHS provide a number of awards from diploma to Master degrees in areas such as business, project management, IT, research and health management.
As a key member of the team, you will have the rewarding opportunity to progress your career within the education industry. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and is self-motivated and an enthusiastic ‘go-getter’.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative function as required in the Registrar’s Office
- Managing and processing student enquiries
- Appropriate referral of students to support and welfare services
- Providing support to students through enrolment
- Processing student applications
- Assisting with orientation of new students, on campus events and graduation
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:
- Experience in student services or related customer services roles (preferred but not essential)
- An undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in business administration or related discipline
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise competing tasks for completion on time
- Ability to work under pressure and to learn and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using a student management system and at least intermediate level skills in MS Office
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a busy environment
