We have got an exciting opportunity for International Recruitment Manager (Pathways & Professional) to be part of our team at ECA College & ECA Professional in our Melbourne office.
Working closely with the Head of Student Acquisition, you will support the development and execution of student recruitment strategies targeting both onshore and offshore markets across these brands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with education and migration agents to recruit students across Asia and other international markets.
- Support the Head of Student Acquisition in achieving student recruitment targets across assigned markets.
- Utilise sales processes and CRM systems to manage agent and student correspondence
- Contribute to the research, development, and review of country-specific recruitment plans, including annual recruitment, marketing, and engagement activities.
- Prepare and present regular monthly reports on recruitment performance, budgets, expenses, and market insights.
- Coordinate recruitment activities to achieve targets within approved budgets, while providing market intelligence and performance updates to support strategic decision-making.
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications, professional experience, and training.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international student recruitment, business development, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse cultural backgrounds.
Desirable
- Experience in the international education sector, particularly in ELICOS, VET, and PY student recruitment.
- Proficiency in English and at least one additional language.
- Higher education recruitment experience is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with education agents, migration agents, and other key stakeholders.
- A results-driven approach to sales, with experience using CRM systems and other digital recruitment tools.
- Proven ability to achieve recruitment targets while working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills, including presentation delivery and professional report writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel interstate and internationally, and to work outside standard business hours when required.
- Strong planning, time management, and organisational skills.
- Experience coordinating recruitment events, seminars, and targeted marketing campaigns.
