Description

Great services start with great coordination

Edge is looking for an experienced Scheduling and Administration Officer to help keep our NDIS services running smoothly.

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing order to moving parts. You will coordinate staff rosters and participant schedules, respond to changes as they arise, maintain accurate service information and provide essential administrative support to our NDIS team.

If you are organised, calm under pressure and enjoy solving problems while providing great service, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position within Edge’s NDIS team.

You will be responsible for coordinating staff rosters and participant schedules to ensure supports are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with participant needs, Service Agreements and industrial requirements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining staff rosters and participant schedules.
  • Coordinating planned and unplanned roster changes.
  • Matching participants with appropriate team members.
  • Communicating schedule changes with participants, families, carers and staff.
  • Identifying and resolving staffing and scheduling gaps.
  • Maintaining accurate information in Edge’s rostering and CRM systems.
  • Supporting Service Agreements, Schedules of Supports and other NDIS administration.
  • Providing accurate scheduling information to support payroll, invoicing and NDIS claiming.
  • Working closely with Supervisors, the Intake Officer and the broader NDIS team.

The role combines scheduling, problem-solving, customer service and administration. Things will change during the day, so being able to think clearly, reprioritise and keep everyone informed is important.

About You

You are highly organised and comfortable managing competing priorities.

You notice the details others can miss, but you can also see the bigger picture and make sensible decisions when plans change.

You communicate well, enjoy working with people and know how to remain calm and professional when dealing with short-notice changes or competing demands.

You will bring:

  • At least two years’ experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination and/or administration in a comparable service environment.
  • Experience using rostering, CRM or other operational systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and record keeping.
  • Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and responsive approach to customer service.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

An understanding of the SCHADS Award and its application to rostering and scheduling will be highly regarded. Experience within disability, health, community or human services and knowledge of the NDIS would also be an advantage

Requirements

You will require:

  • Full Australian working rights.
  • A current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one before commencing.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or the ability to obtain one before commencing.
