Duxton Pubs | Supporting 18 gaming venues across South Australia

Ready to take the next step in your gaming career?

Duxton Pubs is looking for an experienced, approachable and proactive gaming professional to support our 18 gaming venues across metropolitan and regional South Australia.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working alongside teams, developing people and helping venues deliver safe, compliant and welcoming gaming experiences.

With the opportunity to work across different venues and gaming markets, you’ll broaden your industry knowledge, strengthen your leadership skills and make a meaningful contribution across the group.

The Role

Working closely with Venue Managers, Gaming Managers and venue teams, you will help build consistent gaming standards and provide practical support where it matters most—on the floor.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Gaming compliance: Support teams to maintain strong compliance practices, accurate records and consistent procedures, including responsible gambling and customer welfare requirements.
  • Customer service: Coach teams to deliver welcoming, professional service and build positive customer relationships.
  • Gaming performance: Work with venue leaders to review results and identify improvements to service, team capability and day-to-day operations, with responsible gambling central to all decisions.
  • Training and development: Provide practical coaching, mentoring and training to new and existing gaming team members.
  • Operational support: Help teams resolve challenges, improve processes and share successful practices across venues.
  • Team development: Build knowledge, confidence, accountability and a positive service culture within our gaming teams.

The role involves regular travel across our metropolitan and regional venues, including overnight stays where required.

About You

You bring solid gaming experience, strong knowledge of South Australian gaming compliance and a practical understanding of what makes a gaming room run well.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in a gaming leadership, supervisory or senior gaming role.
  • A strong commitment to responsible gambling, customer welfare and compliance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • An approachable manner and the confidence to coach and support others.
  • The initiative to identify opportunities and follow through on improvements.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently across multiple venues.
  • Relevant gaming qualifications and certifications, a current driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

You don’t need to have held a group role before. If you’re performing well in gaming and ready to broaden your experience, we’d love to hear from you.
