We are looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced Casual Gaming Attendant to join the team at the Pastoral Hotel in Port Augusta.

The Role

You will help create a welcoming, enjoyable and responsible gaming experience for our guests while supporting the broader hotel team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and attentive service within the gaming room;
• Assisting guests with gaming machines and loyalty programs;
• Processing payouts and completing cash-handling duties accurately;
• Monitoring the gaming room and maintaining responsible gambling practices;
• Ensuring all legislative, compliance and venue procedures are followed;
• Maintaining a clean, comfortable and well-presented gaming environment;
• Restocking refreshments and completing general gaming-room duties;
• Supporting bar and hotel operations when required; and
• Creating a positive and welcoming experience for every guest.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Current RSA and relevant South Australian gaming qualifications;
• Previous gaming experience, preferably within a hotel environment;
• GFR Pro experience highly regarded;
• RP Badge advantageous;
• Strong customer-service and communication skills;
• Confidence handling cash and completing gaming transactions;
• A sound understanding of responsible gambling requirements;
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• A positive, professional and practical approach; and
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
