The Role

As a Digital Marketing Sales Executive at DUNK, you will manage the full sales cycle from qualifying inbound leads to proactively hunting outbound opportunities. You’ll translate client goals into tailored proposals, balancing bespoke strategies with structured service packages, and work closely with our delivery teams to ensure every pitch is both compelling and operationally sound. You will be the first point of contact for many of our clients, owning relationships throughout the sales process and ensuring a seamless handover to delivery teams. Success in this role means driving new revenue growth, retaining clients, and consistently hitting sales targets while maintaining DUNK’s reputation for integrity and performance. You will draw upon your knowledge of SEO, Paid Search, Social and Email Marketing to ensure that every pitch we deliver is the right solution for the client. This is a role that is part strategy, part sales, part relationships and full-time awesome.

Key Capabilities

As a Digital Marketing Growth Lead, you will:

  • Bring 2-3 years of B2B sales experience within a digital marketing agency or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of all digital marketing channels with proven success in selling retainer-based marketing services.
  • Showcase strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills to uncover client pain points and tailor solutions, not push generic packages.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to not only create proposals but to simplify complex marketing concepts for decision makers.
  • Demonstrate strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline, with experience using CRMs (Pipedrive preferred).
  • Exhibit hunger and resilience, consistently striving to exceed sales targets and unlock uncapped commissions.
  • Possess the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from small business owners to senior marketing leaders.
  • Showcase a strong degree of urgency, ownership, and proactivity. You will be the type of person who takes action before being asked.

Role Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of your role include:

  • Own all client relationships throughout the sales lifecycle, from lead qualification to closing the deal and handing over to delivery teams.
  • Qualify, pitch, and close inbound leads of varying retainer sizes.
  • Actively prospect and engage outbound opportunities across key B2B sectors using LinkedIn, marketplace platforms and other channels.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to uncover client goals, pain points, and budgets. This could be face-to-face or via online meetups.
  • Create compelling proposals and pitch presentations (Google Slides and Canva), including pre-recorded video presentations for virtual sales.
  • Manage your pipeline with discipline inside Pipedrive, providing accurate forecasting and reporting to management.
  • Ensure seamless handover to delivery teams when a deal is closed, maintaining rapport through the onboarding process.
  • Partake in the design and development of new proposals, company landing pages and sales collateral to ensure your sales skills are shared with marketing.
  • Create and share content on DUNK social media to build connections from organic leads into the sales cycle.
  • Consistently hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets across all service streams.
  • Provide clear monthly sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Answer inbound office sales calls and respond promptly to sales enquiries via phone, email, social media, live chat or even WhatsApp.

Agency Level Responsibilities
