Casual Sales Position

There’s an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and enthusiastic sales professional who’s looking for a casual customer service position working at our busy retail store and Big Swing Golf (indoor golf) venue located in Kew. We’d love you to have some solid knowledge about golf equipment. If you love golf but don’t quite know all the technical aspects of golf equipment, we have a comprehensive product training program for you.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Custom clubfit clients using our exclusive MiMatch fitting system.
• Liaise with suppliers for store inventory and customer orders.
• Stock management: receipt, storage and replenishing floor stock.
• Assist with the bookings, simulator operations and payments for Big Swing Golf patrons.

To be successful you will:

• Love golf as much as we do.
• Have strong retail skills, proven sales experience and be committed to delivering superior customer service.
• Have an outgoing, positive, can-do attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
• Be reliable and flexible to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster, which includes weekends.
• Be a strong team player, with the capacity to contribute to the team effort.
• Demonstrate confidence and initiative, with the ability to work autonomously, without close supervision.
• Have the ability to do golf club repairs (highly regarded).
• Have a current RSA (or willing to obtain one at your own cost).
• Have foreign language experience (esp. Mandarin) will be well regarded.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings.
