ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a strategic, business savvy Manager to lead our team at the Melville site. Heading the workshop in the role of Business Manager, you will play a key role in running an efficient and well-resourced team and make a lasting impact!
As the Business Manager, you will be busy overseeing daily operations, ensuring the smooth running of the shop, manage a team of skilled technicians, and maintain high standards of repair work. Your leadership and technical expertise will be key in driving the shop’s success and upholding our commitment to quality and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations and management of the repair shop.
- Financial management of the site, including budget and forecasting.
- Oversee recruitment, ensuring the site is optimally staffed to achieve its targets.
- Supervise and coordinate the workflow of the repair team.
- Ensure all repair work meets industry standards and company quality guidelines.
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks on completed repairs.
- Liaise with customers, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction with repair work.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, job allocation, and reporting.
- Support the training and development of team members.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a leadership role managing a successful business, within the automotive industry (smash repairs preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of smash repairs advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair or a related field is desirable.
