Yamba Priceline Pharmacy is looking for an experienced and motivated Dispensary Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
Working alongside our pharmacists and wider pharmacy team, you will play an important role in ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient dispensing of medications while providing exceptional service and support to our customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Dispensary Technician looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday position in one of the NSW North Coast’s beautiful coastal communities.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately dispensing medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacist direction
- Preparing and labelling medications accurately
- Supporting pharmacists with the day-to-day operation of the dispensary
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Responding to customer and patient enquiries
- Assisting with inventory management, stock control and ordering
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure accuracy and safety
- Maintaining accurate dispensing records and documentation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant dispensary
- Working collaboratively with pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team to support quality patient care
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
- Has proven experience working as a Dispensary Technician in a community pharmacy
- Has excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Provides outstanding customer service
- Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work
- Is familiar with pharmacy dispensing software and inventory management systems
- Is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and pharmacy practice
Experience with Fred Dispense is advantageous.
