Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Manager, the Quality and Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring our product documentation and regulatory compliance processes are accurate, up to date and aligned with customer and legislative requirements.

Working closely with Quality, NPD, Production, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales and suppliers, you’ll support the delivery of compliant products across Australia and New Zealand while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the business.

This role can be based in either our Melbourne or Sydney office.

What Your Day Looks Like?

  • Prepare, review and manage Product Information Forms (PIFs) and other product-related documentation, including product specifications, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), technical data sheets and supporting compliance documents. Act as the primary Quality and Compliance contact for these documents.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare, review and approve PIFs and other product documentation across relevant business sites.
  • Ensure product documentation is accurate, current, compliant with applicable regulatory and customer requirements, and completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Manage and support the Approved Supplier Program, including the review, assessment, approval and ongoing maintenance of supplier documentation to ensure supplier records remain complete, accurate and up to date.
  • Provide support to customers, suppliers and internal teams on Quality and Compliance matters, including completion of customer compliance documentation and supplier approval documents.
  • Assist with audit preparation, certification activities and ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System, including ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 requirements.
  • Support additional quality, technical, regulatory or business improvement projects as required, based on business needs and priorities.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the food manufacturing industry.
  • At least 2 years’ experience preparing Product Information Forms (PIFs) and related product documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of food technology, food safety, quality systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining product documentation including PIFs, specifications, and SDSs.
  • Experience in managing documentation for traded products will be highly advantageous.
  • Experience liaising with customers and suppliers on quality and compliance matters.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with SAP (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
