Warragul | Part-time | Hybrid 9:00am to 3:00pm, 4 days per week
Disability Connect Australia is seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisor to provide practical HR support and workforce compliance oversight across our organisation.
This is a hands-on role supporting managers and leaders across recruitment, onboarding, employee compliance, HR policy, return-to-work and workforce risk.
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce compliance
- Monitoring employee screening, credentials and mandatory requirements
- Supporting return-to-work and WorkCover processes
- Providing guidance on HR policies, SCHADS and employment requirements
- Maintaining accurate and audit-ready HR documentation
- Identifying and escalating workforce risks where required
- Working closely with operational, recruitment, quality and compliance teams
About you
You will ideally have:
- Experience in HR, People & Culture or a similar advisory role
- Knowledge of Fair Work, SCHADS and workforce compliance
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding and employee documentation
- Strong communication, organisation and judgement
- A relevant qualification in HR, Business, Industrial Relations or equivalent experience
Experience within the NDIS, disability or community services sector will be highly regarded.
