YOUR IMPACT

Diabetes Victoria is seeking an experienced and motivated Membership Marketing Lead to oversee and grow our membership program.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategies that attract new members, strengthen engagement and improve member retention. You will manage the day-to-day delivery of the membership program while developing meaningful communications, campaigns, events and experiences for our members.

Reporting to the Partnerships and Supporter Engagement Manager, you will work collaboratively across our Marketing, Communications and Development team, Digital team, Helpline and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of membership and supporter growth strategies.
  • Oversee membership acquisition, engagement and retention activities.
  • Coordinate member communications, including e-newsletters.
  • Develop and deliver membership marketing campaigns across digital, traditional and event channels.
  • Oversee the annual Member Family Fun Day.
  • Coordinate the biannual membership survey and report on findings.
  • Provide guidance to the Helpline team in delivering membership strategies.
  • Manage supplier relationships and identify opportunities to improve program delivery.
  • Maintain campaign and project documentation, capturing results, insights and learnings.

ABOUT YOU

You are a collaborative, outcomes-focused marketing professional with experience in membership, supporter engagement, or customer programs. You understand how to build lasting relationships and use data, communications and meaningful experiences to grow and retain a community.

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing or business, or equivalent professional experience in marketing, digital marketing or membership programs.
  • Strong campaign development and execution experience.
  • Experience managing projects, supporting strategy implementation and achieving performance targets.
  • Skills in membership acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Experience coordinating marketing communications across multiple channels.
  • Confidence using databases and customer relationship management systems.

 

The successful candidate will be required to complete a current Victorian Police Check, Working with Children Check and hold a valid driver’s licence.
