Are you a commercially driven retail professional who thrives on building strong relationships, coaching teams, and delivering outstanding sales results?

Dermalogica is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Retail Account Executive to take ownership of a dynamic territory across New South Wales and Queensland, driving commercial performance, retail excellence, and brand execution across a network of premium retail partners.

Based in Sydney, you’ll manage NSW as your primary territory while travelling regularly throughout the state and spending one week per month in Queensland supporting and developing your portfolio of department store and specialty beauty accounts.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, and retail execution across your territory.

You’ll work closely with retail partners, store managers, and counter teams to ensure sales targets are achieved, brand standards are maintained, and every customer interaction reflects the premium Dermalogica experience.

This role offers a high level of autonomy and accountability and is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, influencing performance, and building strong commercial relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Sales Performance

  • Deliver sales targets across your territory
  • Identify opportunities to increase sell-through and market share
  • Monitor store performance and implement action plans to drive growth
  • Provide regular performance insights and recommendations

Build Strong Retail Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with store managers and retail partners
  • Act as the key Dermalogica contact within your territory
  • Ensure consistent execution across all retail locations

Lead Retail Excellence

  • Conduct regular store visits across NSW and Queensland
  • Maintain visual merchandising and brand standards
  • Support new product launches and promotional activations
  • Complete stock checks and identify opportunities to improve inventory performance

Coach and Develop Teams

  • Deliver in-store coaching and performance conversations
  • Build product knowledge and selling capability
  • Support education initiatives and training compliance
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Ensure Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate reporting through SALT
  • Manage territory planning and travel schedules effectively
  • Escalate commercial, operational, and compliance issues as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in retail, field sales, account management, or multi-site retail operations
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
  • A proactive and highly organised approach to territory management
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly

Highly Regarded

  • Beauty, skincare, cosmetics, prestige retail, or FMCG experience
  • Department store or national account experience
  • Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Experience using CRM or retail execution platforms such as SALT
