Description

Practice Manager – Dental Lounge Double Bay

We are looking for a Practice Manager to lead Dental Lounge in Double Bay, our premium cosmetic clinic in one of Sydney’s most prestigious locations.

Dental Lounge sits within The Dental Group, a $25 million multi-brand dental business that also operates Sydney Implant Institute and Dental 99. Double Bay is the cosmetic flagship, and we want someone who can run it like one.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Double Bay clinic. You will own the appointment book, lead the on-site team, and ensure every patient experience reflects the Dental Lounge brand from the first call to the final follow-up.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable on the floor managing flow, behind the scenes building process, and at the desk reviewing numbers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Double Bay appointment book, ensuring chair utilisation, clinical capacity, and revenue targets are met
  • Lead the front-of-house and clinical support team on site, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Maintain Dental Lounge’s premium patient experience standards at every touchpoint
  • Identify and resolve gaps in scheduling efficiency, patient flow, and treatment mix
  • Manage local supplier relationships, inventory, and practice costs to budget
  • Implement and refine standard operating procedures aligned with the broader Dental Group
  • Handle escalated patient concerns with professionalism and discretion
  • Produce regular performance reporting for the CEO
  • Work closely with the central marketing and sales functions to convert and retain high-value cosmetic patients

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven practice management experience in a dental, medical aesthetics, or premium healthcare setting
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing book structure and hitting revenue targets
  • Direct people management experience across clinical and non-clinical roles
  • A natural feel for premium patient experience — you understand what high-end patients expect and how to deliver it consistently
  • Operationally strong: process-driven, organised, and composed under pressure
  • Confident with practice management software (Dental4Web) and CRM platforms (HubSpot)
  • Experience in cosmetic, implant, or high-value dental environments highly regarded
  • Familiarity with AHPRA compliance requirements (desirable)

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience and performance-driven bonus scheme.
  • Direct reporting line to the CEO
  • The autonomy to run a premium clinic the way it should be run
  • Double Bay location, surrounded by some of Sydney’s best cafes, restaurants, and retail
  • The backing of a multi-brand group with serious ambition and the resources to match

If you’re ready to lead one of Sydney’s most respected cosmetic dental clinics, we’d love to hear from you.
