About You

We’re looking for an Educational Leader who is:

  • Passionate about early childhood education and pedagogical leadership
  • A confident, approachable mentor who brings out the best in others
  • Skilled at building warm, respectful relationships with children, families and staff
  • Committed to driving meaningful, high-quality learning experiences across the centre
  • Deeply confident with the EYLF, NQS and child-led play approaches
  • Excited to lead reflective practice, programming and quality improvement

What You Bring ✔ Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) ✔ Demonstrated experience in an Educational Leader or similar leadership role ✔ A current Blue Card ✔ First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certification ✔ Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Quality Improvement Plans ✔ A genuine love of children, learning and leading others

✔ Physically fit for the demands of the role, including working outdoors in the heat, standing for long periods, safely bending, lifting and carrying children and their equipment/toys, and responding quickly in an emergency

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and mentoring educators in curriculum design and reflective practice
  • Overseeing the implementation of the EYLF across all rooms
  • Supporting educators to embed child-led, play-based learning
  • Driving continuous quality improvement and supporting QIP development
  • Building strong partnerships with families and the wider community
  • Bringing the Curiosity Tree values to life every day
