About the Role — Early Childhood Teacher
As an Early Childhood Teacher at Curiosity Tree, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners, ensuring their development and wellbeing in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programmes for children aged 3.5–5 years
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers on their development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices
- Maintain accurate records of children’s activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Foster positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Physically fit for the demands of the role, including being outdoors in the heat, standing for long periods, safely bending, lifting and carrying children and their equipment/toys, and responding quickly in an emergency
About You

- Skilled at building respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

What You Bring
✔ A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification)
✔ Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certification
✔ Understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
✔ A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
