Description

Lead a high-performing team. Shape an inspiring learning culture. Make everyday matter.

Curiosity Tree Early Education is on the hunt for an experienced Centre Manager to take the reins at our brand-new Caboolture centre — and you’ll be there right from the ground up. Step into the final stages of the build and help shape a centre from day one, setting the tone for the community it will become.

We’re looking for a natural leader: someone who builds strong, motivated teams, sets the bar high for outcomes for children, and knows that genuine partnerships with families are the heart of great early learning. If that sounds like you, this isn’t just a new job — it’s the chance to build something from scratch and make it yours.

About Curiosity Tree Early Education

At Curiosity Tree, we believe childhood should be filled with wonder, connection, and exploration. Our centres are built on strong relationships, high-quality practice, and a culture where educators feel supported to do their best work—every day.

The Role: Centre Manager

As Centre Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the centre. You’ll guide and mentor your team, ensure excellence in learning and compliance, and create an environment where children, families, and educators feel a true sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day centre operations, ensuring quality, compliance, and best practice

• Build a positive team culture through coaching, mentoring, and professional development

• Drive excellent educational outcomes aligned to the EYLF and National Quality Framework

• Maintain strong relationships with families and the local community

• Manage enrolments, rostering, staffing, and budgets to meet occupancy and performance goals

• Prepare for and lead assessment and rating processes with confidence

• Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and staff is always prioritized

About You

You’re a capable and values-driven leader who brings calm, clarity, and consistency. You communicate well, solve problems proactively, and know how to lift a team through supportive leadership.

You’ll Bring

• Diploma or ECT qualification (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

• Previous experience in a Centre Manager / Nominated Supervisor role (or strong 2IC ready to step up)

• Solid understanding of the NQF, National Regulations, and Quality Improvement Planning

• Strong people leadership skills (performance, culture, engagement, retention)

• Confidence managing occupancy, staffing, and operational targets

• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• First Aid/CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to update)

What We Offer

• A supportive leadership team and genuine head office partnership

• Above-award salary + performance incentives (where applicable)

• Ongoing professional development and leadership coaching

• A positive culture that values wellbeing, respect, and collaboration

• The opportunity to make a real impact in a growing organisation
