Our Data Analysts work to understand our users, their pain points, and gaps where we can help them make data-driven decisions and improve their way of working. Your role will involve working with internal and external subject matter experts to understand what information will help them run their business and develop data visualisations to make data accessible to them in a timely and intuitive way.
As a Data Analyst at Cubiko your day-to-day will include:
- Working closely with engineering, customer success, product and sales to build a leading product.
- Data modelling, analysis and ETL.
- Integrating data from many sources into our data platform.
- Building data visualisations that make our users’ experience informative, valuable and meaningful.
- Working closely with healthcare practices to support the development and their use of Cubiko’s products.
- Managing and resolving product bugs and fixes.
The role will expand as our team continues to grow and we’re active in providing plenty of opportunities for professional development and learning new technologies.
Characteristics
There are four key characteristics we’re seeking:
- [numerate] You understands maths and statistics at a deep level – how things are calculated and why. While we don’t present any sophisticated statistics in our product, fluency with data is essential.
- [explorative] You are able to investigate oftentimes messy data, interpret the results, find the value in the data, and figure out how to communicate this effectively.
- [practical] You strive to seek a balance between perfect solutions and delivering immediate value to our customers, and are able to lean in either direction depending on that nature of the project. You’re familiar with the tools used in the industry and like to feels competent with the systems you work with.
- [curious] You’re excited to dive in and learn new skills or technology when needed to, you see challenges as an opportunity to explore new ideas
As a minimum, you will:
- Have a relevant degree in a STEM discipline.
- Have working rights in Australia.
- Be willing to do a police background check.
Desired possible experience:
- Experience with the Australian Healthcare System.
- Experience with SaaS apps.
- Experience with SQL, DBT, Cube, Python, or Clojure.
All Cubiko staff are required to undergo a National Police Clearance check.
