Public Area Attendant (Full-Time)

At Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport, we are seeking an energetic and detail-focused Public Area Attendant to join our friendly and professional in-house Housekeeping team.

In this role, you’ll help ensure our hotel’s public areas are presented to the highest standard, creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming experience for every guest.

What you’ll do:

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas including lobbies, corridors, lifts, restaurants and other guest areas
• Ensure public spaces are consistently clean, tidy and presented to Crowne Plaza brand standards
• Vacuum, mop, dust and polish surfaces as required
• Clean and maintain public bathrooms
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or damaged items promptly
• Assist with deep cleaning and other Housekeeping tasks as required
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly and helpful manner
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and equipment

What we’re looking for:

• Previous Housekeeping experience in a full service hotel preferred
• A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented
• Great communication style, making guests feel at ease
• Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• The role requires good physical fitness, as you will be on your feet for most of the day and need to bend and kneel frequently
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
• Must have full working rights for Australia
