At Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport, our Maintenance team plays an important role in keeping the hotel safe, comfortable and running smoothly for our guests and team.

We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the Maintenance Manager with the day-to-day maintenance of our guest rooms, public areas and hotel facilities.

What you’ll do day to day:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
• Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Support and guide the maintenance team with day-to-day tasks
• Identify maintenance issues and escalate more complex or specialised repairs
• Assist with coordinating contractors and external service providers when required
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment and stock
• Follow hotel, WHS and safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in hotel, commercial building or general maintenance
• Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
• Experience working across general repairs, basic plumbing, painting, carpentry and building maintenance
• Ability to prioritise jobs and work independently
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with other departments
• Previous experience supporting or supervising a small maintenance team
• A trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience is desirable
