Summary
We are seeking expressions of interest from motivated and professional MC Operators to join Independent Grain Handlers (IGH), a Western Australian owned and operated bulk commodity handling and logistics business that forms part of the Cropline Group of Companies.
Based out of Bibra Lake and operating across Western Australia, IGH provides integrated transport, storage, handling, warehousing and logistics solutions to customers across the agricultural, mining, industrial and bulk commodity sectors. Our operations support the movement of grain, fertiliser, mining products, containers and other bulk commodities through a range of supply chains, storage facilities, ports and customer sites.
This role typically operates up to 14 hour(s) per day as required, Monday to Friday, with additional hours and weekend work available in line with operational requirements.
IGH Operations Include:
- Bulk commodity transport across Western Australia
- Grain and fertiliser receival, distribution, storage and transfer operations
- Container loading, transport and handling operations (malt, grain agricultural goods and mining products)
- Port and vessel discharge support activities
- Warehousing and bulk storage logistics
- Mining and industrial product transport and handling
- Seasonal and project-based logistics support
- This role suits individuals who are comfortable working in a high-demand, seasonal environment and can adapt to changing operational priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain MC vehicles in compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in loading and unloading materials at various sites
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols while on site
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Valid & current MC driver’s licence
- Current Fatigue Management Certificate for Professional Drivers
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating MC end tipper combinations
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and assessment
- Must be able to provide an NPC (within 3 months) and Infringement history report
- History of compliance and strong safety record
- Ability to work in a team and follow instruction
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
