We are currently expanding our fleet and services to include MC Changeover on the Sydney Melbourne route and are hiring 2 reliable and competent MC drivers for this route.
These are permanent, full-time positions, based out of our Moorebank Depot in NSW.
Summary:
The MC Changeover roles play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely transport of goods within the rail industry. Based in Moorebank, New South Wales, this permanent, full-time position is essential for maintaining operational excellence and supporting the logistics chain. The successful candidates will contribute to the smooth transition of freight and uphold safety standards while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Operate MC vehicles for local deliveries and changeovers in compliance with road safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety and compliance.
- Assist in loading and unloading freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and knowledge of industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid MC (Multi Combination) driver’s licence.
- Proven experience in a similar driving role within the transport and rail industry.
- Strong knowledge/ qualifications of road safety regulations and compliance requirements, including CoR, Mass Management, Fatigue Management and Load Restraint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development.
- Dangerous Goods License
What we need from you:
- Excellent skills and ability to confidently and competently reverse a B-Double
- Good driving record (traffic history must be supplied on request.

- A clean police record, (pre-employment requisite)
- Australian Working Rights – Australian citizenship, Permanent Residence
- Current Australian driver’s license – Australian citizenship, Permanent Residency or Visa with No restrictions
- Pre-employment Police check – mandatory.
- Medical will be required upon start at our expense.
- Excellent driving skills including the ability to fluidly reverse a B-Double.
