The Cowboys Community Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to improving outcomes for young people and communities in North Queensland. Through innovative programmes and strong partnerships, we drive positive change, increase access to opportunity, and build lasting community connections.

As the official charity of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, we harness the power, profile, and passion of a major sporting brand to engage communities, inspire supporters, and deliver high-impact funding initiatives. From activations at Cowboys home games, to the Annual Cowboys Charity Golf Day, to peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and raffles – our fundraising programs are designed to connect deeply with our local communities, while raising vital funds for our mission.

About the Role Share your passion for change, join the Cowboys journey in this exciting and impactful casual role as Community Fundraising Support. Help raise much needed funds to support the Cowboys Community Foundation in delivering valued programs throughout North QLD.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell tickets for the 50-50 Charity Raffle at Cowboys Home Games
  • Assist coordination and delivery of community fundraising activities
  • Set up and pack down stalls and activations at Cowboys Home Games as well as Community and Corporate events
  • Assist with bump-in/bump-out, raffle sales and merchandise promotion and sales
  • Handle and distribute fundraising kits including signage and merchandise
  • Liaise with local supporters, volunteers and sponsors providing information & materials about the Cowboys Foundation and its partners
  • Maintain accurate records and support basic administration with confidence

 

Relevant Experience and Skills

  • Shared Values, have a passion for community impact and supporting local initiatives
  • Confident, friendly, and outgoing, engaging with our Club Members, Partners and Public in a positive and professional manner
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Organized with good attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy (using tablets, mobile POS, or digital tools is a critical aspect of this role)
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and game day
