About the Roles
GRADUATE ACCOUNTANT (0-1 year experience)
You will be supported to develop core accounting skills whilst working on real client engagements:
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMEs, trusts and partnerships under supervision
• Learn Australian accounting standards and tax legislation through hands-on experience
• Assist with tax planning and advisory projects
• Receive structured guidance and feedback from experienced team members
• Develop client communication skills in a supportive environment
JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT (1-2 years Australian public practice experience)
You will progress your technical expertise whilst beginning to take greater ownership of your work:
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMEs, trusts and partnerships
• Provide support and guidance to graduate team members
• Liaise with clients on accounting and tax queries
• Assist with tax planning and advisory projects
• Manage workflow with accountability for quality and timeliness
• Contribute ideas to improve client outcomes
About You
Essential Requirements:
• Australian Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Currently undertaking or willing to commence CA/CPA qualification studies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Genuine enthusiasm for accounting and client relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
• Australian public practice accounting experience (for Junior Accountant applicants)
• Experience in Tax, Business Advisory, or Financial Services
