OHS Cadet

We are looking for a motivated person to join our OHSE Cadet Program and build a career in construction safety.

Corplex is a growing industrial construction company. Our OHSE Cadet Program provides a structured pathway toward becoming an OHSE Coordinator through on-site experience, mentoring and training.

About the program

Working alongside experienced OHSE and site teams, you will gain practical experience in site inspections and compliance, SWMS and risk controls, inductions, incident investigations, high-risk activities and environmental management, while developing the confidence to professionally address real-world safety issues. You will also develop knowledge of Corplex’s ISO-certified OHSE management systems and gain exposure to Site and Project Management.

As your knowledge and experience grow, so will your level of responsibility.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys working in a site environment and is committed to developing through practical experience and formal training. Ideally, you will have:

• Previous on-site construction experience, with trade experience highly regarded
• A Certificate IV in WHS/OHS completed or underway, or a willingness to undertake relevant training
• A current Construction Induction Card
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
• A proactive attitude and openness to feedback
• A valid Driver’s Licence and unrestricted Australian working rights at the time of application.
