About the Opportunity

We are seeking skilled and passionate radiographers to join our expanding team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and dynamic radiography practice. You will have exposure to MRI, CT, general x-ray, BMD and dental CT. To be successful, you will be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes and consider yourself to be highly accountable. You will demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging communication style and possess the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging reports.
  • Interpreting radiological requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies
  • Ensuring image quality and examination scope is sufficient to provide diagnostic information relevant to clinic needs

About you

  • Bachelor of Medical Imaging Science/Radiography (or equivalent)
  • Current Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA
  • Current QLD Radiation Use License
  • Competence in General Radiography and CT incl. IV Cannulation
  • Passionate about providing an outstanding service to our patients
  • Experience in general x-ray and OPG
  • Experience in CT, MRI or Mammography would be advantageous
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • High level of communication with patients and staff
