About the Role
Reporting to the Depot Manager and Operations Team Leader, you’ll be a critical part of the daily operations engine — keeping documentation accurate, customers informed, and the team moving. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands transport from the inside.
We have two shifts available: AM and PM.
- Communicate driver ETAs, delays, and delivery updates to customers and internal stakeholders professionally and promptly.
- Processing and uploading Proof of Delivery (POD) documents; following up on any missing paperwork
- Preparing driver documentation for linehaul and local deliveries; completing debriefing paperwork
- Booking and confirming delivery timeslots at distribution centres (DCs)
- Communicating driver ETAs, delays, and delivery updates to customers professionally and promptly
- Handling pallet dockets, consignment notes, and manifests with accuracy
- Entering and maintaining data across Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Fleet Management platforms
- Processing customer notifications regarding waiting times, rejections, and stock updates
- General admin duties: scanning, archiving, photocopying, and document control
- Comfortable with Transport Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or similar platforms; advanced Excel skills.
What We’re Looking For

Transport or logistics experience is essential — you’ll hit the ground running
- Prior admin or data entry experience in an operations environment
- Demonstrated experience handling time-sensitive documentation and data entry within a high-volume transport environment.
- Understanding of cold chain logistics principles and basic HACCP awareness.
- Comfortable with TMS, WMS, ERP, or similar platforms; strong Excel skills
- Clear, professional communicator — written and verbal
- Highly organised with sharp attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, adaptable, and positive — you take ownership of your work
- Familiarity with cold chain or HACCP procedures is a bonus
