Support Daily Operations. Lead by Example. Keep Customers Moving.
We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Assistant Branch Manager to help lead the day-to-day operation of one of our busy branches.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting customers following a vehicle accident or breakdown, coordinating drivers and vehicle movements, completing rental check-ins, assisting the Branch Manager with daily operations and helping ensure everything runs smoothly throughout your shift.
You’ll play an important role within the branch, acting as a senior point of contact for the team and making informed decisions to keep operations running efficiently. Whether you’re helping a customer get back on the road, planning tomorrow’s bookings or responding to changing priorities throughout the day, you’ll be trusted to help keep the operation moving.
This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their leadership career within a growing national business, with genuine opportunities to progress into Branch Manager and other leadership positions over time.
Our branches operate 7:00am to 9:00pm, seven days a week, and this full-time position works on a rotating roster, with early, day and late shifts shared fairly across the team, including weekends.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure the smooth delivery and retrieval of vehicles for customers, aligning with both the Company’s and customers’ expectations.
- Providing support to the Branch Manager in team management issues.
- Be the escalation point for any day-to-day issues that need addressing urgently in the absence of a manager.
What You’ll Bring
- Preferred experience in a similar role or within the automotive industry.
- A full and clean driver’s license, a motorbike license is an advantage but not a necessity.
- Physically able to wash and prepare vehicles for delivery
- Exceptional customer service skills with at least one year of experience in a customer service role.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Able to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
