CSBS is currently seeking compassionate, resilient, and experienced Disability Support Workers to support participants in the Redcliffe and Lawnton areas.

About the Role

Location: Redcliffe / Lawnton 

Employment Type: Casual or Permanent Part-Time

We are recruiting support workers to join a dedicated support team assisting participants with Autism Level 3 and complex behavioural support needs.

As part of a 24/7 support team, shifts may include:

  • Day shifts
  • Afternoon shifts
  • Passive sleepover shifts
  • Active overnight shifts
  • Weekend shifts

Availability across a variety of shift types will be highly regarded.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3)
  • Experience working with complex behaviours and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies
  • Confidence implementing behaviour support plans and restrictive practices where authorised
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach to support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster

What You’ll Need

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Open Queensland Driver Licence
  • Reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Experience supporting participants with Autism and complex behaviours
  • A genuine commitment to supporting people with disability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster
