About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female House Supervisor to provide leadership and support within a residential disability service in Daylesford.

Due to the personal care requirements of the role and the needs of the participants supported within the home, this position is open to female applicants only.

This role requires strong experience in behavioural management, trauma-informed care, and behavioural modification, along with the ability to lead staff, support complex needs, and maintain a safe, structured, and person-centred environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of support staff in a residential setting
  • Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence
  • Provide behavioural management support and implement behavioural modification strategies
  • Apply trauma-informed care principles in daily practice
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and external agencies to ensure the best possible care
  • Develop and implement individualised care and behaviour support plans
  • Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and documentation
  • Ensure the home environment is safe, welcoming, and compliant with all relevant regulations

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Health, Aged Care, Disability, or related field
  • Minimum 1-year full-time experience in a supervisory role within Health, Aged Care, or Disability Services
  • Proven experience in behavioural management, trauma-informed care, and behavioural modification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check ID or ability to obtain one
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate or ability to obtain one
  • Current Driver’s License, own car, and comprehensive/third-party insurance
  • We are committed to child safety. This role requires compliance with child safety policies and completion of pre-employment checks, including Working With Children Checks.
