About Holistic Dental Care
Holistic Dental Care is a dentist-owned, purpose-led practice within the Coastal Dental Care network, based at Emerald Lakes in Carrara. Led by Lead Dentist and Practice Owner Dr Carla Simoes, our team sees oral health as part of the bigger picture: physical wellbeing, emotional balance and how a patient feels in the chair. We work with biocompatible materials, favour minimally invasive techniques where we can, and take the time for genuinely personalised care. This is dentistry with intention, not volume.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Dentist to join our multidisciplinary team as a commissioned clinician, working two to three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Implant experience is essential for this role: we have an active caseload already in place, and you’ll take that on from day one. You’ll step into an established patient base with full clinical autonomy, backed by an engaged nursing and admin team who care about the same things you do. Beyond that, this role suits a dentist who wants time, trust and the freedom to practise in line with holistic health principles.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing general and restorative dentistry with a holistic focus
- Delivering treatment across fillings, crowns and bridges, extractions, recalls, implants and oral surgery, within scope
- Building long-term, trust-based relationships with patients
- Working closely with our nursing, admin and allied health team
- Maintaining strong clinical governance, ethical standards and infection control
- Contributing to a respectful, values-led team culture
- What we’re looking for
Essential
- AHPRA-registered Dentist with no restrictions
- Valid Australian work rights (no sponsorship available)
- Demonstrated experience providing implant treatment
- Strong clinical capability and sound diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient rapport
- A collaborative, patient-first mindset
Preferred
- Interest or experience in holistic dentistry
- Oral surgery experience
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- A calm, confident and empathetic chairside manner
