Description
Be the friendly first point of contact for IT, admin and office support at the Climate Council.
- A varied, hands-on role across operations, admin and basic IT support. No IT qualifications needed.
- Be the friendly first point of contact who keeps our office running like clockwork.
- Permanent, Melbourne based with hybrid flexibility.
About the role:
Every great team needs someone who makes the day-to-day run smoothly. Someone who loves process and jumping in and helping others where needed to ensure they can do their job well.
This role works across both operations and IT. Most of your time goes to operations and admin. That means keeping calendars, records and filing in order, coordinating travel, and helping teams across the organisation get things done.
The rest is first-line IT support. Think setting up laptops for new starters, sorting login and access issues, and getting people connected for meetings. Anything complex goes to our IT Manager, who’ll back you up and help you build your skills.
You will have:
- At least one year’s experience in an admin, office support or similar role.
- Confidence working within Google Workspace and a knack for picking up new software.
- Experience troubleshooting everyday tech issues for colleagues. You don’t need an IT qualification, just a practical, can-do approach.
- Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to juggle requests from multiple teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and a sharp eye for detail.
- A proactive, friendly approach and the confidence to work with minimal supervision.
What we offer our employees:
- Supportive and healthy work/life balance through hybrid options and flexible hours.
- Enjoy 5 additional paid days off each year to focus on your wellbeing
- Yearly flu vaccinations to help you stay well.
- A passionate, friendly, and knowledgeable team where every voice is heard and valued.
- A strong annual base salary plus superannuation, and recognition payments
- A culture of celebrating people’s achievements, both professionally and personally.
- Opportunities for professional development
