Summary:

The Landscape Foreman will oversee and coordinate landscaping projects in Sydney metro region, New South Wales, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines. This role is crucial for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of outdoor spaces, contributing to the overall success of our building and construction operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of landscapers in the execution of landscaping projects.
  • Plan and organise daily work schedules and allocate tasks to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in landscaping.
  • Monitor project progress and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in landscaping techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in landscaping or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and construction techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate landscaping machinery.
  • Certifications in landscaping or horticulture are advantageous.
