ABOUT US
Circle Green Community Legal provides specialist legal
services in employment, workplace discrimination, residential tenancy law,
family and domestic violence, and humanitarian services. It delivers legal
advice, further assistance, casework, representation, duty lawyer services,
outreach, community legal education, and advocacy to provide access to justice
to the WA community.
The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate and experienced people to join our
volunteer Board of Directors. As a volunteer Board Director, you will play a
critical role in providing strategic oversight, ensuring strong governance
practices, and supporting the achievement of our organisational objectives.
Working collaboratively with fellow Board Directors and the Executive Team, you
will help guide the organisation through opportunities, challenges, and future
growth.
Key Responsibilities
·Contribute to the development and oversight of
organisational strategy.
·Ensure effective governance, risk management,
and compliance.
·Monitor organisational performance and financial
sustainability.
·Support the achievement of the organisation’s
mission, vision, and values.
·Attend and actively participate in Board and
committee meetings.
·Act as an ambassador and advocate for the
organisation.
·Maintain high standards of ethical conduct and
fiduciary responsibility.
About You
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:
·Previous Board, executive, or senior leadership
experience.
·Strong strategic thinking and decision-making
capabilities.
·An understanding of governance principles and
director responsibilities.
·Excellent communication and stakeholder
engagement skills.
·Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and ethical
leadership.
·Passion for the organisation’s purpose and
values.
Desirable Skills and Experience

·Public policy and community legal sector
