Christians Bus Company is looking for an experienced Workshop Manager ready to take the next step.

You’ll lead the workshop team that supports bus operations across Bacchus Marsh, Melton and Werribee, working together to keep our fleet safe, reliable and on the road

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll:

  • Lead and support the workshop team in a modern facility
  • Drive fleet safety, reliability and maintenance standards
  • Improve workshop efficiency and processes
  • Develop and mentor Workshop Supervisors and Mechanics
  • Work with Fleet and Operations teams to deliver improvements

About You

You’re an experienced Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic with strong leadership skills and the ability to bring people together.

You’ll have:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics is preferred, however applicants with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Previous management experience in transport, warehousing, or related industries (bus experience ideal but not essential).
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • An interest in working with Electric Vehicles (EVs).
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Experience managing large-scale operations and understanding Chain of Responsibility (COR).
  • A commitment to delivering excellent service.
