About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Floating Casual School Bus Driver to join our team.

This is a flexible role where you will provide relief and support across different school bus routes as required. You may cover planned leave, unplanned absences and additional operational requirements, making every week a little different.

There may also be opportunities to pick up additional school runs and charter work, depending on operational needs.

This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work, variety and the opportunity to work across different routes while still enjoying family-friendly school-based hours.

Your Day

• Provide relief across scheduled school bus routes as required
• Safely transport students to and from school
• Cover driver absences and additional operational requirements
• Complete daily vehicle checks and required paperwork
• Provide friendly and professional service to passengers
• Undertake additional school or charter work when available

What You’ll Need

• MR or HR Heavy Vehicle Licence
• Driver Accreditation
• Employee Working with Children Check
• Strong commitment to safety
• Reliable, flexible and professional attitude
• Ability to adapt to different routes and changing operational needs
