About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Accountant to join our growing team in Bibra Lake, Western Australia. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in the accountancy field.
What you’ll do
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, staff expenses, and credit control
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, journals, and month-end close activities
- Maintain asset registers and support stocktakes, inventory reconciliations, and record keeping.
- Oversee vehicle and operational administration, including registrations, fuel cards, and servicing records
- Reconcile GST and PAYG accounts and support compliance with Australian accounting and tax requirements
- Provide accurate financial and administrative support to the finance team and the wider business
- Maintain contract registers and ensure activities comply with internal policies and Quality Management Systems
What you’ll bring
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (completed)
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Exposure to management accounting or project accounting (highly regarded)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing industry or similar (will be advantageous)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliations
- Good Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Experience with an Australian accounting system (MYOB, Reckon etc.) (desirable)
- Exposure to GST, BAS, or ATO reporting (desirable)
