Our highly contextualised, practical workshops delivered by experienced health care professionals empower a diverse range of participants – from frontline clinicians and local first responders to worksite crews, farm workers, corporate executives and remote communities – to provide life-saving care with confidence and skill in critical situations.
The role
We currently have a rewarding opportunity for an Education Coordinator to work as part of the Education team who are at the top of their game. The team is made up of clinical, operations, coordination and logistics professionals, working collaboratively as a close-knit team, to bring all our
training events together and bring them to learners across Australia.
Reporting to the Head of Operations – Education and Training the key responsibilities will include:
- Promote, plan and coordinate the delivery of Australia wide education programs to ensure they run smoothly.
- Develop and implement training plans and team schedules for workshops and other activities.
- Coordinate travel and event bookings for the team, guests and volunteers
- Assist in the administration of course and content reviews and update of materials, as needed.
- Respond to correspondence and enquiries received from educators in the field, clients and community members.
- Plan and execute program and education activities within budget and provide acquittal summaries and reports.
- Coordinate databases and systems, including producing reports, and supporting quality improvements from evaluation data.
- Coordinate equipment inventory, asset maintenance (including vehicle, trailer and equipment servicing and repairs), and adequacy for each workshop/event.
- Ensure vehicle and equipment are safely secured pre, during and post workshops/event and coordinate ongoing tracking and supply.
- Undertake specific projects as required and aligned to business needs.
- Ad hoc tasks on an as needs basis as directed by the Education management team.
About you
We are looking for a candidate that thrives in a fast-paced environment, that can come in and help us organise our training courses, workshops, and other education activities nationally. You do
not need any specific industry background to be successful in this role, however we are after someone who has exceptional organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and ensure effective completion of tasks within deadlines.
You will be very organised, detailed focused, can work well within a small team environment, and have a can-do attitude. If you come from any sort of planning background and have logistics or operational experience and you know how to prioritise and get stuff done, we want to hear
