Drive Growth Across the Eyre Peninsula

About the role 

Cara is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Regional Development Manager to lead business growth across Port Lincoln and the Eyre Peninsula. Based in our Port Lincoln office, you’ll be the face of Cara in the region building referral networks, converting enquiries into new clients, and identifying opportunities across Supported Independent Living (SIL), Home & Community Support (HCS), Short Term Accommodation (STA) and Day Options. 

This is a role for someone who thrives on autonomy, knows how to build trust with stakeholders, and wants to make a genuine impact in their local community while contributing to a values-driven, high-performing team. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Developing and executing a regional business development and relationship strategy 
• Building strong referral networks with Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, SDA providers, allied health professionals and community stakeholders 
• Managing enquiries and referrals from first contact through to service commencement 
• Identifying emerging market and housing partner opportunities across the region 
• Driving vacancy management and tracking leads, conversions and engagement through Cara’s CRM 
• Representing Cara at community events, expos and industry forums 
• Collaborating with Client Funding, Client Services and Client Experience teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding journey 
• Coordinating client suitability, client matching and risk assessments in line with NDIS Practice Standards 
• Demonstrated experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, intake or relationship management 
• Experience in disability, community services, health or human services highly desirable 
• Sound knowledge of the NDIS, including funding arrangements and service delivery models 
• A proven ability to build relationships that convert into referrals and growth 
• Strong commercial awareness and a knack for spotting opportunities 
• Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills 
• Comfortable working autonomously in a regional setting while staying connected to metro teams 
• Current Driver’s Licence, and willingness to hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check is essential.

Applicants 

In person interviews offered will be held Tuesday 29th September and Wednesday 30th September at Cara Port Lincoln Office, Shop 10, U8D / 60 Tasman Terrace Port Lincoln. 

Online interviews will be held from 1st October to the application close date.  

Start date is flexible. Upon commencement, the successful applicant will be required to travel to Cara Head Office in Adelaide for induction and training for up to 3 days. Travel costs and accommodation for this training are covered by Cara.
