Capspace is a fast-growing non-bank lender and
private credit fund supporting Australian businesses with flexible funding
solutions. Founded in 2020, we’ve grown through strong relationships,
disciplined execution and a focus on long-term outcomes for borrowers, brokers
and investors.
We’re looking for a Junior Accountant to join the team, working closely with
the Managing Director. This is a hands-on role suited to someone recently
qualified, or near completion of CA/CPA, who wants exposure to private credit,
lending operations and a high-growth commercial environment. You’ll gain direct
visibility into financial performance and decision-making, with the opportunity
to build strong commercial capability early in your career.
This role would suit a first mover from public practice or a junior accountant
looking for broader commercial exposure.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting
·Maintain reconciliations across bank, loan accounts and investor reporting
·Support fund and trust accounting activities
·Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
·Support cashflow monitoring and forecasting
·Support audit, compliance and regulatory reporting
·Provide financial analysis to support business decisions
·Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and controls
What we’re Looking For
· CA/CPA qualified or near completion
·1–3 years’ accounting experience in public practice or a commercial environment
·Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately at pace
·Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial mathematics
·Experience using Xero and Fathom
·Strong Excel capability
·Commercial mindset and willingness to learn
·Exposure to treasury operations will be viewed favorably
·Confidence working in a fast-paced, growing business
