We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our New Home Builder segment. You will drive growth across Brisbane metro by developing strategic partnerships with residential builders and expanding our presence in the new home market.
We’re looking for someone who already understands the residential building industry, knows the key players, and has the credibility and commercial capability to build long-term partnerships that deliver results.
About the Role
Reporting to the State Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the Queensland residential builder market while strengthening relationships with existing builder partners.
You’ll work closely with some of the region’s largest and fastest-growing home builders, engaging key decision-makers to position Caesarstone as the preferred surface supplier. You’ll also collaborate with architects, designers, retailers, stonemasons and our internal sales teams to create opportunities that drive sustainable growth across the territory. Based from our Yatala office, this role offers hybrid flexibility with regular travel throughout Brisbane metro.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan focused on Queensland’s New Home Builder market.
- Identify, prospect and secure new builder partnerships across the territory.
- Leverage your existing industry network to create new business opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers across major and boutique residential builders.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities using CRM and deliver accurate sales forecasting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Represent Caesarstone at industry events, networking functions and builder forums.
- Support and collaborate with the wider Queensland sales team to achieve territory objectives.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who thrives on developing relationships and creating opportunities.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in Business Development or Key Account Management within the New Home Builder industry.
- An established network of contacts within Queensland’s residential building market.
- Experience selling building products, construction materials, interior finishes or related solutions.
- A demonstrated track record of winning new business and growing strategic accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems.
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
