We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand who is highly capable, motivated, and driven by design and detail. This role will be based in the Southern Highlands.

About the Role

As the Leading Hand, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Carpenters and Apprentices, working closely with the Senior Site Manager. You will be part of the Cadence & Co construction team and will liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers as required.

About You

  • Experience working as a Carpenter, ideally on high-end residential, architecturally designed homes
  • Confident leading a small team on site
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site deliveries
  • Able to interpret plans and work to a construction program
  • Own all powered and hand tools required to complete carpentry tasks on site

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified Carpenter
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • White Card – General Construction Induction
