About the role  

As the Maintenance and Logistics Coordinator at Buru Rehab, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our civils and earthworks operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time position is based in our Rockingham, WA office and involves coordinating maintenance activities and overseeing the logistics of our supply chain.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules for all production equipment and machinery
• Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to schedule and oversee the completion of maintenance and repair work
• Tracking and analyzing equipment performance data to identify efficiency improvements and proactively address issues
• Managing the procurement, storage and distribution of production materials, parts and consumables
• Optimizing logistics and supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Maintaining detailed records and generating reporting on all maintenance and logistics activities
• Collaborating with the production team to identify and resolve any operational bottlenecks
• Assisting Project Managers and Operations Manager with project logistics, reporting and execution
• Rockingham WA based role with periodic travel to the Pilbara, Kimberlies and other Buru Rehab projects as required

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance coordination or logistics role, preferably within a civils or earthworks environment
• Strong technical understanding of earthworks equipment and machinery, with the ability to interpret performance data
• Excellent planning, scheduling and problem-solving skills to coordinate complex maintenance and supply chain activities
• Proficient in the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office suite of documents
• Superb communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external providers
• Relevant qualifications in Heavy Diesel Fitting, logistics or a related technical discipline would be highly regarded
