Burke Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Economic & Community Development Administration Officer to support initiatives that strengthen our community, promote tourism, encourage economic growth and deliver engaging events. About the Role

Working closely with the Community, Economic Development and Communications Manager, you’ll provide administrative support across a range of community and economic development initiatives. From coordinating events and supporting grant projects to creating communications and engaging with community groups, no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support community engagement, events and tourism initiatives.
  • Assist with economic development projects and grant applications.
  • Prepare promotional material, newsletters and social media content.
  • Coordinate community consultations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support across the department.
