Bullinah Aboriginal Health Service is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Clinical Services team.

Working closely with the Executive Officer and a committed multidisciplinary leadership team, you’ll play a key role in strengthening clinical services, supporting staff and helping shape the future of primary health care at Bullinah.

About the role

As Practice Manager you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of Bullinah’s Clinical Services.
  • Support and develop a multidisciplinary team through coaching, mentoring and clear leadership.
  • Oversee Medicare billing, funding and operational systems to maximise efficiency and compliance.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement, accreditation and service development.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, community, partner organisations and key stakeholders.
  • Support organisational change while fostering a positive and respectful workplace culture.

About you

You’re an experienced and approachable leader who enjoys developing people, improving systems and creating a positive workplace culture. You lead by example, communicate with honesty and respect, and know how to balance operational demands with genuine care for your team. You have the confidence to lead a busy clinical service while remaining approachable, organised and solutions focused. You communicate well, build positive relationships and understand that strong systems and a positive workplace culture go hand in hand.

You’ll bring:

  • High emotional intelligence, approachability, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a health or primary care environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, practice operations and clinical administration.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to lead change, improve systems and build collaborative relationships.
  • A genuine commitment to culturally safe, community-centred healthcare.
  • Diploma of Practice Management or equivalent, or willingness to obtain.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence.
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
