Head Chef – Sydney

Brickfield Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our Sydney operations.

This Sydney-based leadership opportunity will see you overseeing one of our established hospitality venues, leading all aspects of kitchen operations including team development, food quality, financial performance, compliance and service delivery.

Reporting to senior operational leadership, you’ll be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional food while building and developing high-performing kitchen teams.

About the Role

As Head Chef you will:

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day management of the kitchen
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, consistency and service standards.
  • Lead, mentor and develop your team while managing rostering, labour costs, stock control and purchasing to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety and compliance
  • Work closely with venue and operational leadership
  • Contribute to ongoing menu development and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

  • You are an experienced Head Chef or an accomplished Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
  • You have a proven ability to lead and inspire kitchen teams, with a strong understanding of food and labour cost management and a passion for delivering consistently high standards.
  • Organised, adaptable and hands-on, you enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and are committed to creating exceptional dining experiences for guests while fostering a positive kitchen culture.
