Educator – Bogan Shire Early Learning Centre – Multiple Opportunities

Location: Nyngan, NSW

Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours per week)

About the Roles

We are recruiting across two grades:

  • Grade 3 –  For individuals who hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with at least 12 months’ experience
  • Grade 4 –  For individuals who hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with at least 2 years’ experience

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
  • Promoting children’s safety, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Assisting with daily routines, supervision and documentation
  • Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Upholding regulatory standards and Council values in all aspects of care

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range:
    • Grade 3: $34.28 – $37.13 per hour
    • Grade 4: $37.13 – $42.98 per hour
  • 12% superannuation
  • Generous leave entitlements, including 4 weeks of Annual Leave, 1 week of MyLeave, 3 weeks of Sick Leave (for ECEC staff), access to Carer’s Leave, and more

What We’re Looking For

You have:

  • A genuine interest in early childhood education and care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safety, inclusion and continuous improvement
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Australian residency or valid work visa
  • Current First Aid Certificate 
  • Class C, P1 or P2 Driver Licence

Depending on the grade, you also have:

  • Grade 3:  A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with at least 12 months’ experience
  • Grade 4: A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with at least 2 years’ experience
