Permanent Production Operator

About the Role

BMS Specialty Cements is seeking reliable and motivated Permanent Production Operators to join our growing team in Toowoomba.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining safe and efficient operations. You will play a key role in supporting our production and warehouse activities while contributing to a positive team culture.

This position is suited to local candidates who live and work in the Toowoomba region.

Successful applicants will complete a 6-month probationary period before transitioning to ongoing permanent employment.

Two shifts are available (Monday to Friday):

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 1:00pm – 9:00pm

Competitive remuneration will be offered based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, storing and dispatching goods
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock control records
• Support loading and unloading of deliveries
• Ensure the warehouse and production areas are clean, organised and compliant
• Assist with general production, logistics coordination and yard duties
• Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively within a team to meet production targets

About You

• Current Forklift Licence (required)
• Current Driver’s Licence (preferred)
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Reliable, punctual and motivated
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Previous production, warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous, but not essential
• Must be based in the Toowoomba region and able to work one of the available shifts
